DFM/DFA: Design for Manufacturing & Assembly of Plastic Components
I make plastic parts suitable for both CNC machining and injection molding. By adjusting critical parameters such as wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, and edge radii, I ensure that the parts are both functional and manufacturable.
I also handle the creation of parting lines, shut-off surfaces, overmolding component configuration, and determination of cored-out surfaces.
